BTW... where are the 13 to 15 year olds you claim are the only hateful gays? It looks like all adults ~ mid 20's to 50's in these videos.

Yes Gabe, I remember you well. Very smart young man, probably to your own hurt.

Thanks for the link to a secular dictionary, however, I'll use God's Biblical definition for the direction of my life. In the beginning God created man and woman, and Jesus reiterated this as the divine intention for human sexuality. Marriage is a covenant, not a contract and it is holy. God's intent is for marriage to bring us into union with His creative power and create life; therefore it is with one man and one woman.

Did you view the video above with your friendly gay activists? There are about 10 more where that came from.

Good memory. Yes, we did meet once.

Thanks you, Stephen, for your pedantic lesson on perspective verses perception.

Thousands of years? Surely you don't want to look back that far in making your point. All the way back to when polygamy was the norm, or when marriage was a property arrangement. Or even back to when marriage between two races was wrong. Those versions and marriage laws don't bode well for your "Keep it the same as its always been! Tradition!" argument. In the last few "thousands of years" marriage has evolved and been "redefined" in a great number of ways. Have you seen the newest Merriam-Webster definition? It seems the current definition of marriage has already evolved to include same-sex unions, whether you like it or not. (see for yourself: www.m-w.com)

Why don't you save the "activist judges" crap for the KKK and others who were against Brown vs. Board of Education, Loving v. Virginia, etc. Our judicial branch of "activist judges" have a history of protecting minorities from the masses, even when it was against the majority of the citizens at the time.

Gabe the interesting thing about perspective and perception, they vary with the character and the values of the person. Ours are certainly different. A right taken away? What right? Gay Marriage? When was that ever a right? Oh you are talking about when some liberal San Francisco leaders and the black robes of California decided to over turn the will of the California citizens and legislate from the bench and freely give the minority group of liberal thinks the right to take away the right of those who define marriage the way it has been for thousands of years. The California voters were then forced to go to the polls again and vote, underscoring their original desire to keep marriage - a Biblical and Sacramental definition of one man with one woman. Who is trampling on whose rights here? Wouldn't that be liberals and gays who are taking away our God given right? Isn't perspective and perception interesting. Thinking it through...

Oh, I just found one. Tens of thousands of peaceful protesters marching in the streets of Hollywood, with 3 or 4 people having a tussle with the local police. Those 3 or 4 troublemakers do not represent the tens of thousands who were peaceful.

Thanks for the tip. I just looked at 10 or 15 youtube prop 8 protest videos and didn't see one violent action or threat. Anger? I would expect that from a minority group who just had one of their rights taken away. If the majority of citizens in your state voted to take away your right to vote, having been swayed by a campaign that you believe was mostly lies (funded by a large cult in a neighboring state) wouldn't you bit a bit angry? I think you and I both agree that Mormon temples aren't exactly the house of God.

The level of outrage and anger by the gay community isn't silly. You might go watch all the YouTube videos surrounding this issue... I never saw anyone in any of the videos under aged; matter of fact most were late twenties to senior gays screaming and yelling. Just a few bloggers? Right.

Again, so much for tolerance.

Stephen - Don't you think it's a bit disingenuous to use a few radical bloggers as proof that "gays are threatening to burn down churches?" There are millions of gay people in this country. Of course you'll find a few bloggers (probably 14-year-old boys) who would say something stupid on a blog. Try using a little more candor. You'll look less...silly. ;-)
